About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team.
You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our core API infrastructure that powers thousands of e-commerce transactions daily. This is a high-impact role where you'll work on challenging problems at scale.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable API endpoints
- Optimize database queries and improve system performance
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Monitor and maintain production systems
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with database design and optimization (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
